Assignments:

- Certain assignments will be completed in your Science Notebook. The entire notebook will be turned in and graded periodically. If the assignment is not neatly completed in the notebook it will earn a zero.
- Assignment due dates are posted in Powerschool Gradebook and discussed in class.
- Study Guides, given before each test, are graded as pass or fail. If all questions are attempted the student earns a 100%. If any question is left blank or directions are not followed the student earns a 0%.
- Corrections may be made to assignments. Students may earn up to half of the missed points back by making corrections. Corrections must include the page number of the textbook in which students found the correct answer.
Late Work:
- Late work may be turned in after the due date. The highest grade students are able to earn on late work is 70%.
- Late work and assignment corrections will be accepted until we complete the unit on that material.
Extra Credit:
- Students may complete one extra credit assignment per quarter.
- In order to earn extra credit, students must follow the directions (available in the link below) to complete an article review of a reputable science-related article.

Academic Integrity:
- Wrangell High School students are expected to maintain the highest levels of academic integrity. Plagiarism or cheating of any kind is not acceptable and will not be tolerated. The first offense will result in an automatic zero on the assignment, test or project in question. Any further incidents of cheating and/or plagiarism during the same school year in any class will result in an F for the class in question. Cheating and plagiarism will also impact extracurricular eligibility, and will make a student ineligible for valedictorian or salutatorian (see student handbook).
